The Dog Steps Module

Dog & Drive dog steps have been specially designed to relieve pressure on the joints of large dogs in particular and to help prevent mobility problems. They provide valuable support for older dogs, puppies and dogs with limited mobility.

The smooth and stable entry protects your hips and joints - for maximum safety, comfort and style on every ride. The anti-slip mats look stylish and provide a secure footing.

The steps can be operated with just one hand - leaving your other hand free for the lead, your shopping bag or a treat as a reward. Thanks to the quick-release system, the stairs can be detached and removed in a matter of seconds.

Both a step and a barrier: the dog cannot simply jump out of the car when the boot is opened. The step acts as a barrier and protects the dog at the same time.

Two designs: Choose between the rubber-coated Black Edition for rugged everyday use with your dog and the stylish Carbon-Look version for a sporty look.

The Bed Module

A high-quality bedding system is the perfect finishing touch for your dog’s space. The leather-look dog bed with diamond stitching stands out above all for its custom fit: the cushions are made to measure for your specific car model and make optimal use of the available space in the boot. The high-quality, handcrafted all-round padding ensures that your dog can lie comfortably and relax, even on longer journeys. The side panels also provide optimal cushioning during sudden braking and tight bends.

The Cushion Module

The cushion module is a bespoke cushion that fully covers the floor of your boot and is perfectly tailored to your vehicle. It is made from the same high-quality materials as the bedding system and provides your dog with a comfortable, stable place to lie. It thus combines elegant design with a high level of comfort, whilst protecting the boot floor in everyday use.

Production

At Dog & Drive, virtually the entire product development process is carried out in-house: from concept development and prototype construction right through to manufacturing to the highest standards. The team, comprising practice-oriented engineers and specialist manufacturing staff, has set itself the goal of developing a step aid that delivers exceptional quality, functionality and aesthetics for dogs.

Materials

Dog & Drive is committed to quality. Only materials of the highest standard are used. For example, the company uses a V4A stainless steel alloy, which is employed in yacht building and offers optimum corrosion protection. Furthermore, the company utilises techniques and materials from the aerospace industry to create lightweight yet rigid structures. Carbon fibre-reinforced plastic is ideal for the base structure of their stairs, as, when used correctly, it combines uncompromising lightweight construction with high load-bearing capacity. To ensure your dog’s comfort during the journey, breathable and water-repellent materials are used in combination with high-quality synthetic and genuine leather.

Safety information

To ensure that the dog transport system lasts for a dog's lifetime, Dog & Drive bases its development, production and quality control on DIN 9001. Young and lively dogs in particular can exert considerable force on the stairs. By applying high safety factors when calculating the forces involved, they ensure that the stairs meet these requirements. In addition to this analysis, the team subjects each staircase to a series of tests before delivery, in which the most stressful scenario is simulated extensively.

Delivery information

If the product is in stock, shipping or installation in Basel can take place within a week. For custom-made products, the delivery time can be up to eight weeks, depending on the complexity and order situation. As soon as we have received your payment, we will inform you of the approximate delivery time. Before production begins, we will send you an order confirmation so that you can check all the information again.

Care instructions

Light soiling can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth. The anti-slip mats on the steps can be removed and brushed or rinsed. The steps can be rinsed down with a garden hose using low water pressure.
