Wir sind Stephanie und Johan, die Menschen hinter Paw & Property und maisonBo. Was als spontane Idee auf der anderen Seite der Welt begann, ist heute ein Basler Unternehmen mit zwei Gesichtern:
dem persönlichen Concierge-Service für Deine Katze oder Deinen Hund und dem Shop für Produkte, die genauso hohe Ansprüche erfüllen wie wir selbst.
Wo alles begann
Im Jahr 2017 sassen wir mit einem Kaffee, einem Hausschlüssel und der Verantwortung für das sehr verwöhnte Hundepaar Kuta und Thali in Neuseeland. Das war aber erst der Anfang. Zwei Jahre lang zogen wir durch Neuseeland und Australien, hüteten Häuser und Vierbeiner, als wären es unsere eigenen, und entdeckten dabei ein Konzept, das es in dieser Form in der Schweiz noch nicht gab: professionelles House- und Petsitting.
Diese Erfahrung liess uns nicht mehr los. Zurück in der Schweiz - zuerst in Zürich, seit 2019 in Basel - machten wir aus dem Abenteuer einen Beruf. 2021 wurde Paw & Property offiziell im Handelsregister eingetragen: Wir bieten persönliche Dog- und Cat-Concierge-Dienste in Basel an und erinnern mit der Property Care, die wir bei unseren Katzenbesuchen mit anbieten, an unsere Housesitting-Wurzeln.

Your Wedding Concierge
The idea for our Wedding Concierge came about following a request from a close friend and her Jack Russell called Baxton. Stephanie’s best friend Anne was getting married in Hamburg and asked if we could look after Baxton over the weekend and take him to the wedding. We agreed straight away – and realised in the process that there was a wedding planner, a photographer and a florist. But no one who was solely focused on making sure Baxton had a great time. Until we stepped in. Ever since, we’ve been answering precisely this question for couples: How can you remain the dog-lover you always are on your big day – whilst still being fully there for the people you love? The answer is simple: you hire us.

We welcome all animals, whatever their size – big or small, young or old. If your dog or cat has any special needs, just let us know. We’ll then work with you to draw up a personalised care plan.

This question led to the launch of maisonBo.ch in 2023 – our online shop for high-quality, design-led accessories for dogs and cats. We seek out, test and curate the most beautiful and well-designed pieces – furniture, accessories and products that you’ll want to display in your living room not only for their functionality, but also for their aesthetic appeal.
