Cosy naps are guaranteed in the Senso dog bed. Made from soft bouclé fabric and available in two subtle colours, this box bed blends seamlessly into your living space, making it a real highlight of your interior design.

The inner construction also guarantees maximum comfort and sustainability. For the ultimate in lying comfort, the mattress is filled with viscoelastic recycled foam that moulds perfectly to the dog’s body shape. Orthopaedic visco-foam is permanently elastic and provides the best possible support for the spine and relief for the joints. Sturdy foam side panels support the head and ensure that the bed retains its shape even with regular use.

The removable cover, like the foam inserts, is machine washable. Like all MiaCara box bed covers, the Senso cover is also available separately, so you can give your dog bed a fresh new look whenever you like.

Care instructions

Cushion fillings

The cushion fillings are made from an extremely soft, open-cell foam. To ensure that this material retains its excellent properties over time, the cushions should be cared for and cleaned in accordance with the care instructions.

The best way to clean the cushions is to wash them using a standard mild detergent at temperatures of up to 60°C. We advise against using laundry additives with high chlorine content or harsh chemicals. A brownish discolouration of the foam cannot be avoided, but this does not affect the quality in any way.

After washing and rinsing, remove as much water as possible using the spin cycle. It is best to leave the drained cushions to air-dry on a rack. The cushions can also be tumble-dried at up to 60°C, but take care not to overdry them.

To ensure that the box mattress retains its shape over time, it must be fluffed up regularly.

Mattress

Machine wash using standard delicate or wool detergent at temperatures up to 30°C. We advise against using strong bleaching agents or chemically aggressive laundry additives, as residues of these additives may damage the viscoelastic foam during the subsequent drying process.

After washing and rinsing, remove as much water as possible by spinning. It is best to leave the drained mattress to air-dry on a rack. However, the mattress can also be tumble-dried at up to 60°C.

Cover

The cover can be gently machine-washed at 30°C or dry-cleaned. After washing, leave the cover to air-dry on a rack. The cover can be ironed at a low temperature after washing.

For quick cleaning in between, dog hair can easily be brushed off or vacuumed up using the upholstery brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. To remove stains from the fabric, press a damp cloth onto the stain and wipe the fabric clean using circular movements. Repeat the process if necessary. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used.

When cleaning, please avoid using solvents, concentrated abrasive cleaners or solvent-based cleaning products that contain DMF (dimethylformamide), ketones, esters, methylbenzene or toluene.
